Onmyōdō 陰陽道
The Way of Yin and Yang: the body of practice behind the onmyōji’s office, synthesizing Chinese cosmology, Buddhist mysticism, and native ritual. Its techniques included graded ceremonies, spoken formulas such as the nine-syllable kuji, the shikiban divining board, and talismans.
